What this is
Speak On Cue is a practice tool. You speak for a minute and read back what you said.
Your account
You sign in with Google. We receive your name, email address and profile picture, and store them to identify your account.
Your voice
Your microphone is switched on when you start a rep and switched off when you finish speaking. Only the speak part is recorded. The recording is sent to Speechmatics, a transcription service, to be turned into text. We do not store the recording. After transcription we ask Speechmatics to delete its copy. You can play the recording back until you close the result; it stays in your browser and is then gone.
What we keep for each rep
The cue, the transcript with word timings, the counts worked out from it (ums, filler words, pace, pauses), how long you spoke, and the date in your own time zone.
Warm-ups and drills
We record that you finished one and when.
On your device
Your rep settings, your choice about analytics and your time zone (a cookie, so “today” means your day). A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in.
Analytics
Only if you allow it, we use Mixpanel to count which pages and buttons get used, which cue and settings a rep used, how long you spoke, and whether the microphone was allowed. We do not send your transcript, your recording or your location to it. If you are signed in, this includes your name and email.

Deleting your data
Email speakoncue@gmail.com. We will delete your account and everything with it.
Changes
We will update this page when what we collect changes.
